Cancer Registry Programme: National Tumur Registry Programme is being carried out by our Institute since 2003 in order to draw a National Atlas of Cancer patients.
Early Detection & Cancer Awareness Programme: Govt. of India has designated our institute as Nodal Agency to conduct District Cancer Control Programme under National Cancer Control Programme for the Nagaur (Adjoining Districts: Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh & Churu) and Bikaner (Adjoining Districts: Sikar & Jhunjhunu) Districts and adjoining districts. Training Programme for Medical Officer/Health Workers and Cancer Detection & Awareness camps have been organized under this programme. At rural camps, our faculty members delivered lectures in the schools and among the public. The cancer awareness poster exhibition was also displayed. This programme has been planned as a regular activity of this Institute. The patient undergoes investigative procedure as much as possible at the camp site including FNAC and Biopsy. these are then reported in the institute and patient’s are informed about the disease and treated accordingly.
